  • WSU VS. EVANSVILLE Predictions and Pregame Discussions

Here's the deal. Just because this is a road game does not mean we can't win. Last game, we had 20 team assists and Armstead had 9 and Cotton had 6 of those as both scored 9 points. Look for D-Will, Early who is never late, and Mr. Wiggins who played a whopping 25 minutes, to lead us this game. How do you beat this team on the road? Don't foul too much but play the D., make shots, rebound, rebound rebound, make more shots, and play 40 solid hard minutes. In the end, we just need to win and win we will. Oh yeal. Contain the Colt to a mild roar.

UNI did not put up much resistance at Koch Arena. But Drake played us reasonabley tough in Des Moines. Bradley played on of its better games of the season pusing the Shocks all the way to the end and SIU no doubt played far and away its best game of the season in causing Shocker fans some unexpected indigestion. Probably should expect more of the same from Evansville.

Coach Marshall no doubt will express his opinion in his mild manner way regarding what kind of defensive effort he will be expecting.

No reasons to expect anything but the usual meat-grinder at Evansville. Shocks should be ready.

Focus, Instensity, Toughness, Energy. In other works FITE Shocks, FITE. (Eh, not as good as MTXE I guess.) Either way I wanna see me some of it.

One thing is for sure, Marty's team won't quit like that team from Iowa not named Drake. 40 minutes of pain in their purple house of grabass where for some inexplicable reason, they'll shoot twice the number of free throws our guys will.

Know this, prepare for this and continue to show the will to overcome this....'Fever is right, this is their Super Bowl. At 3-1 the Aces and their fans believe they are in the race for a Valley title. Do the work and don't fear the result but (especially the new guys) having the right mindset to accept there are NO off days in the Valley is the big first step.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:

After the performance against SIU, 3G will have the Shox focused and we'll put foot on throat.

                            Shox - 81

                            Pimps - 62

Cotton shuts Ryan down. Cle goes for more than 20 again. Ehimen continues to be a beast on D.

Can you explain a couple of things to me. The rebounds, steals, blocks, and turnovers sections all seem wonky to me. For example, it appears our defense is averaging fewer rebounds per game than Evansville but we are ranked 19 and they are ranked 119 and we are the team that is highlighted. The steals, blocks, and turnovers sections all have a similar problem to me. Why would it be good to have a higher number on steals, blocks, and TOPG on the offensive side and better to have a lower number on the defensive side?

                              Thanks!
