Face value is what though? 30-40$?
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Last year was my first year. I purchased all session passes and had seats in the corner. I did a little research and found out that I could purchase (from street vendors) Thursday tickets for $10 and Friday tickets for around $20 each. We purchased really good Saturday seats for $100 pr. I had also purchased really good Sunday seats for $125pr. I gave those away. :banghead:

I wound up spending a few more $$$ to have good seats. I plan to do the same thing this year. The only drawback is you might find yourself in the middle of some Il State fans like I did on Saturday last year. I would have liked to have sat with the other WSU fans.

Since I spent most of my childhood sitting in the corner - I sure as heck don't want to pay to sit there as an adult.

Same here. It not worth buying from WSU. You can get better tickets in STL and for better price.

We're at least four times as "boisterous" and and one quarter as "civilized". Those were derived from a Facebook post from people I know at Creighton. Although I take it as a complement from them, because of course, as we all well know, Omaha, Nebraska is full of class (rolls eyes). But hey, I'm planning on being there. If they are going to give us as much effort as we've seen this year, all of Wichita should be there to support them back.

As usual, I'll be there again (for the 15th straight year).

However, there will be a change in the SR Posse this year.

It doesn't appear as though ShockRef's Mentor will be making the trip. Therefore, RefChick will be coming again for the 2nd straight year.

I'll see those who I know (and maybe a few I don't) in STL.

Creighton fans deserve credit, no doubt.

I know Catholics like to drink, but their fierce dedication and will to prepare is unmatched. There must be some kind of anticipated shortage in early March of malt beverages in Omaha. While I understand the students that are flush with daddies money from the latest spilled hot chocolate lawsuit and eager to spend $10/can to temporarily blur out the insufferable overall wearing cheerleaders and turn the average bj coed from a 1 to a 3, never in my life have I seen so many mid 50s women sport blowing 1 tall boy after another 3 hours before tipoff.

The Mentor will not be in attendance? That is disappointing.......

Bought 8 tickets this year. I anticipate a screw job, but I think we will overcome it and come out the winner finally.

When you expect to get screwed it doesn't hurt as bad and you can prepare for it. Maybe (Doubtful) the Valley will already know that Creighton will be in the NCAA anyway and they won't need help from Elgin, Pollard, Higgins or anyone else.

Ummm, just spit my coffeee all over my keyboard at work - isn't that sort of thing an NCAA violation? and, doesn't that sap their energy for the game . . . jus' askin'
If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

3 of us coming from Houston meeting up with the usual group of hooligans. We buy our tickets on the street every year so we can pick and choose which sessions to attend. This will be my 10th year.

The Moose bought our tickets and the wife and I will be there with bells on. She will be in alot better health this year since the radiation and chemo is over with. She did just recently undergo a gamma knife procedure to remove several lesions that had begun to look suspicious to the radiation oncologist. Yesterday she started working out at the Y with a personal trainer that is trained to work with cancer survivors so I expect her to walk to the arena from the Westin this year. But only if she wants. I anticipate nothing but good happening for WSU at St Louis this year.

Students are not counted in the number. So it's probably safe to add on another 600 or so to that number of 4,000... :dread:

We need to be LOUD in St. Louis and not let the Creighton horde take over.
