  • Paul Miller in the Shocker HOF. When will Jason Perez get inducted

I like Paul Miller. Was a great player in his senior year and led us to greatness.

But when is Jason Perez going to get inducted?

He should have been in a long time ago if you ask me.

Ok. Must be a different interpretation of greatness. Good guy though. What about Jamar Howard?

Perez before Howard. JP33 should already be in.

Miller got in first because he was MVC POY.

With that line of reasoning, who the hell gets in to the Shocker Hall of Fame? Just guys from the 60's during the Final Four run?

And really? You question the interpretation of greatness based on what Paul Miller did, but then ask about Jamar Howard? What greatness did he lead us to?

Jason Perez should be in already. I won't take anything away from Paul Miller and his accomplishments, but Jason graduated almost 15 years ago. He scored over 1,800 points and is in the top 10 in many other statistical categories. I don't understand our SHOF board and how they vote. Is it based on the individual receiving a certain percentage of the votes that determines whether or not he or she gets in, similiar to MLB?

Robert Elmore is another one that should already be in. We've discussed the reasons why over and over again, (theft charge and his death from overdose), but this shouldn't take away his accomplishments on the court. He is only the third player in the history of the program who has 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. I believe the other two are Cheese Johnson and Xman.

The SHOF board needs to let bygones be bygones and vote these players in.

I can understand a hesitation about Elmore, but not Perez.

Jason never did anything that would have called his character into question. The only thing he has going against him would be he played on some awful teams while he was here. If the shocks won, it was almost certainly because of Perez. He was good at all of the aspects of the game and his career stats show it. Hopefully he gets in next year.

I am not on the JP33 for Hall of Fame bandwagon. . He was part of some of the darks days of Shocker Basketball. Others got more than their fair share of the blame.

I do think he is a great player...

I am late to the party. Has Paul Miller been approved for the HOF?

If so, is he held in the same light as X and Big Dog?

                              Just wondering.
