Fred is already playing valuable minutes. Any more pouting and inconsistency by MA and you may get your wish.

Not everybody with a scholarship will ever start. Bowles certainly will.

This is a comparison of the Fred and MA Prouty (a metric that 1979Shocker publishes that attempts to measure overall contribution in a game).

              Observations:

              1. Armstead on Average is "B" level, VanVleet is "C"
              2. Armstead has shown he is capable of playing at high level "A" - 36% of the games
              3. VanVleet max capability has been limited to C+/B-

I think Fred has to improve his game consistently in the B+/A range before you can really have this discussion. What really has made this discussion possible is not Fred raising the level of his game (though I think he is getting better, just in slow progress), but Armstead has had two poor games in a row where Fred has been better.
The fourth data point for Malcomb was the Howard game. In the game, Malcomb only played five minutes. Was he injured or in the doghouse or other? His line score was a bunch of zeros, one missed 3 ball and one steal.

He was ill, or at least claimed to be, and did not feel like he could make a go of it. Not sure 3G was totally buying that though and he was less than complementary of Mal not being able to tough it out a little more than he did. Only Mal really knows for sure how badly he was feeling, but the medical and training staff had cleared him to play.

I agree. I also believe that Lufile should be starting as well. There is no way that Ehimen is better than him.

Anybody having a change of heart about MA yet? I'd be fine with him being gone tomorrow.

Even with Hall, we'd be screwed without Malcolm. Stop with this nonsense already.

I wouldn't say screwed... I'm not for abandoning him but I'd be ok with a few less minutes for Armstead and a few more for FVV

Maybe 2 trash talk T's in the last 3 games is acceptable to you, but it isn't to me. He is a decent player, but if we had the rest of the roster healthy, we would be fine without him.

Can't make everyone happy. I remember reading 3 years of posts of how we were "too nice". I like the attitude this team has.

I too can do without the T's. But I like the fact that we are back in black.
