    1. Didn't White have some kind of injury before the season started?
    2. Williams was recovering from ankle or foot surgery at the start of the season.
    3. Early had a slight ankle sprain but played through it.
    4. Orukpe has the ankle sprain he's still recovering from.
    5. Cotton has some kind of bruise (ankle or foot?) that he is playing through.
    6. Now Hall has the thumb break.
    7. Baker has the stress fracture.

    Is there anyone else?
In addition, to Wessel, CJ and FVV which have been previously mentioned Tekele also had a back injury I believe sustained during a weight-lifting session. I don't think he missed any games but he did have his torso heavily taped. Don't know if that is still bothering him any or not.

A code word? Far more likely a coincidence, inasmuch as the word is used in PaulS's sense far more often than as a name. Then again, I'll call it a coincidence if the world actually does end Friday. (By the way, I assume the end is scheduled to begin in the Mayan Standard Time Zone, right? So folks in Hawaii should have a few hours extra to see if there's anything to worry about.)

                • The three starters injured (Baker, Wessel and Hall) and one recovering (Orukpe) have a net plus rating of 265 through 10 games; the remaining eight (Lufile, Armstead, Williams, Early, Wiggins, Van Vleet, Cotton and White) have a plus 345. On a per-40-minute basis, the injured are +52.2 and the healthy (???) are +92.4.

The lineup of Lufile, Armstead, Cotton, Wiggins and Early has dhared the court for a total of 113 seconds through the ten games. Substitute Williams for Cotton, and that group has not yet played together.

The lineup with the most time together with Lufile playing is Lufile,Wiggins, Van Vleet, Cotton & White. That has played 9.75 minutes and has a -8.2 plus/minus.

Here are all the combinations of the remaining eight players through ten games.

                  Minutes +/- per 40
Williams Wiggins Hall Cotton White 2 83.3
Lufile Williams Wiggins VanVleet White 6 61.4
Williams Early Wiggins Cotton White 6 34.3
Armstead Williams Hall Cotton White 10 19.1
Lufile Williams Early VanVleet Cotton 7 11.9
Armstead Williams Early Hall Cotton 13 3.1
Lufile Williams VanVleet Cotton White 5 -7.9
Lufile Wiggins VanVleet Cotton White 10 -8.2
Williams Early Hall VanVleet Cotton 9 -12.8
Lufile Early Wiggins VanVleet Cotton 3 -41.1

                    • Since Mayor Brewer proclaimed this Shocker Appreciation week, asked everyone to wear black and gold this week, and renamed the street by IBA Shocker Way - I decided to wear a Shocker T-Shirt out tonight to a place I normally wear a dress shirt or a polo.

I try to buy a unique T-shirt every year at Shocker Madness. I've got "Fear The Wheat" and "I Am Shocked" from prior years.

The shirt I wore tonight is the one I bought this year. On the way home, I realized the message on the shirt was all too accurate. Without realizing what I was saying with the shirt, I was wearing the "Bad To The Bone" shirt. This season certainly has been "Bad To The Bone".
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

When you have lost four guys who are responsible for 38% of the team's scoring as well as their defensive impact in preventing opposition baskets, it will be extremely difficult to overcome. The fork has been stuck in us but good.

The only positive I will be taking away from this is that it will give our newer faces more field experience. What a disappointment. There will be no miracle on the hardwood sunshine pumpers, so get that straight.
Sorry kc. Not trying to stir the pot. I was just reading the thread. Can you believe this is the same season!!?

What a night. I love that baker resurrects himself and is so instrumental after such an unfortunate season.

                          • A moment of silence in thanks for K-State not being interested in this young Scott City, Ks.playa!!! Actually, our Program is very blessed to have both Malcolm and Baker being willing to pay their own way for a year to play for us. Thanks to the both of you for this sacrifice and we could NOT have done it without both of you.

It has not been an easy path for Baker either after sitting out last Season only to be injured early this Season. However, Ron kept his focus fixed towards the "big picture" and kept doing his part to be primed and ready to 'step up to the pump' when his number was called upon. What pure true form he has when he releases the 3-ball. He was making these all summer long as we reported. However, Baker is a Maker also when the shimmering lights are shining right upon him as millions view the positive results.

When we look around at the youth we have returning next season such as Cotton, Baker, Wessel, FVV, White, Green, and our incoming recruits, I find myself humming the song by Flo Rida that is called "Good Feeling." can u dig it? Now that is some groovy black and yellow graaavy and the fixins to feast upon. Enjoy baby!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
