Can you simply not register the difference between screaming, and screaming in a guys face? Are you that dense? Personally, I'd like to see less of that screaming crap anyway. In another mans face or not. And you could see MA running his mouth at the bench. Don't know what he said, but he shouldn't be doing that anyway.

Refs sticking up for refs, I get that but I just feel that what Hall did was not taunting. Guess I am just dense!

OK - our continued excessive fouling cost us the game - not the refs. I do NOT care to go back and watch the replay, but since we are discussing it. When I watched at the time, it was my opinion the CH was just yelling - NOT in anyone's face. That player (whomever it was) just happened to be running past him at the time. He was not yelling AT the player - he was just yelling as today's players always seem to do after they dunk or make a great put-back. It was a yell of victory over the play he had made - not "in your face" taunting. Anyway that's my opinion. People all make mistakes, players, coaches, and uh...officials.

And I've pretty much said that I don't think it was his intent to yell in the guys face, but that's how it ended up happening/looking. You can't blame an official for giving him a T for that.

How about they all just shut their mouths and play the damn game and we don't have to worry about any of that BS?

I feel really sorry for charleston southern and s miss. If our team is as good as I think they are, they are about lay the law on someone. That's what good teams do when they face a disappointing loss.

Running your mouth at the opposing bench is a pretty easy one too.

You should know all about getting T's from your days at the Y. Perhaps you're just bitter because of those experiences.

I didn't see a face that either MA or CH was yelling into. I wasn't watching on a very good TV but I didn't see anybody very close to either. Correct me if I'm wrong.

MA was jabbering at the Tennessee bench before turning around and calling out the defense.

Carl had a guy about 3 feet from him maybe that was directly in the path of the scream. Again, I don't think it was his intent to yell in the guys face, but that's what happened, or appeared to happen. If an official sees that, easy call.

You really have issues. I started at the Y in college. Trained under a college ref. Have worked varsity level HS ball for 7 years.

You obviously can't see anything objectively as a fan. Which isn't uncommon and why as an official I don't judge what fans say or take any of it personally. And I haven't officiated at the Y in many years, but it was a good way for young officials to learn from more experienced guys. At least the Y I was associated with at the time as it was run by a very experienced and respected official.

But keep making blanket statements no matter how ignorant they are. They make me laugh and I'm always ready for a good laugh.

huh what days at the Y? Seriously tho this is D1 College basketball, guys will get emotional. CH does that all the time, its not taunting, he was just screaming and the UT player ran in front of him. This isnt the YMCA

shockers play like sh*t, yet still there for the win. marshall is the man. like i've said before, even when the shockers have an off night, they're usually still in the game. if armstead isn't benched for that long stretch (should have been for the rest of the game, though, after yelling at an opposing head coach- that's a no-no), wsu could be 10-0.

yes, i'm burning up after losing to the likes of tennessee, but there is still improvement to come.. which is a plus-plus with this team. watch out.
