        Hmmmmm.
I will say that it was the most energetic crowd we've had all season. I sit at the top and nearly all the single game ticket seats that usually go unsold were filled tonight also.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

Nick can shoot like we thought. The rest of his game is getting better. Not great, but better.
Chadrack was good offensively in the first half when he didn't dribble. Chadrack was bad offensively in the second half when he dribbled.
Demetric played good. 4 for 4. Should have taken a couple more.
Glad we have Cleanthony. Would like him drop the ball off to others now and again.
Ron Baker's all around game is better than his shooting. And I think he will go down as a great shooter when all is said and done.
Carl is calling for his mulligan. I'm expecting a drive right down the middle next Thursday.
Malcolm shot the ball well. I really think Gregg wants him to take ownership of this team as the floor leader.
          I miss EO.

Dang some security guard just woke me up and everybody is gone. That second half worked better than Ambien.

                Somewhat of a redundant description.

Looks like this was a good game for me to miss. Just got home, glad to see it wasn't close. We need to get healthy.

Another game with plenty of teaching opportunities but without having to pay for it with a loss.

Really enjoyed Mike's post-game interview with Nick. Nick really does sound like he has he head screwed on right. Sounds like a pretty mature young man with a great attitude about how HCGM is handling him. I think Nick's PT will only continue to grow and when we do have late game situations requiring offense there is a darn good chance Nick will be on the floor.

Apparently the greatest fanbase on earth makes their decisions to come out based on the opponent's worth, rather than their team's worth. Their team's worth is worth about 24 in the country right now.

Kinda sad we haven't hit a sell out this year. I hope Marshall doesn't think things have "peaked" here..

Great first half, crappy 2nd half, minus two starters = 26 point win. I'll take it.

                        Get well, please.

Doesn't seem too upset about the loss. :p

Maybe he would have preferred to be at South Carolina as a new coach? 18,000 capacity arena that has averaged 7,822 for it's first 6 games. That includes a game against Clemson which had 10,684 and gave away free t-shirts to the first 2,000 (that's an average of 7,250 for the other 5 games). They also have an ongoing special of a family 4 pack: 4 drinks, 4 hot dogs, 4 drinks, 4 tickets for $44. For the first regular season game they had free food for all students. Single tickets, lower level, $18 and there's a lot available on the ends. Make no mistake, football not only drives the ship, it is the ship.

Check this out. 10 Shocks played and the minutes played all ranged between 18-22 minutes. Has this happened much in the past? We had 15 turnovers? Why? This has to be shored up to beat Tennessee. Our chances to win that game will increase if we are closer to 10 turnovers than 20. Tennessee will swarm us like 'jacked up honey bees' and we have to make them pay. We got so sloppy at one juncture in the 2nd half last night that we went 5 subs in and the starters out which seemed to get us back on track as a team. Few teams possess this type of quality depth that allows you to make such a move, but yet get positive results. Later, we all settled down and played better.

We had 19 assists and that is solid. FVV had 5 and Armstead had 4 to lead us in assists. Nice. Marshall was quoted in the paper that Wiggins has to do more than make 3-pointers. You know what? I think he will become more well-rounded as the Season moves forward and so will the improvement of our overall team play. If so, this will be a Season to remember.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
