Few Shocker games have been very entertaining, win or lose. I highly doubt this one will be unless you find the Shox getting torched from deep and dunked on for two hours entertaining.

We simply play a very uninspired type of game these days both offensively and defensively and it's hard to watch no matter the end result.

I thought the last game against Carolina directional was entertaining. But I'm just dipping my toe back in... slowly.

It could be worse with the Memphis game. They could reside outside our conference.

I hope it's a barn burner and we play hard and keep the score close. It's probably best for this conference (whatever that means) if they win.

Memphis isn’t exactly destroying teams in the AAC, but they probably will destroy us. Unless we give a K-State like effort then we might have a chance

One again they will destroy us on 3s as they have 3 guys outpacing our 3 point leader (Justin Hill has 23 made 3s at 29%, Bell has 19 at 41%). Memphis has Hunter with 51 at 44%, Rogers with 40 at 37%, Haggerty with 23 at 40% and Carter with 15 at 39%. Based on past scouting, we tend to focus on 2 or 3 guys only, which means Carter will probably go off and drain 4-5 3 pointers. Mills will be puzzled when he reviews the stats.

This one is definitely going to be a matchup nightmare for us and without the coaching staff instilling a hunger to perfect the fundamentals, this score is going to be pretty lopsided. Probably won't be Florida bad but bad enough make the Mills era taste even bitter. Not much this program can do but take the ass kickings like men until we're not on the hook for paying three coaches.

Count on Haggerty attacking the basket and since we have a lack of foot speed at those spots, he will get fouled and shoot a boatload of FT's in this game.
We simply do not have the talent or depth to hang with Memphis for 40 minutes.
It will be close for a while, but their athleticism will wear down our thin front line and the final score will probably look ugly.
