This is what I meant at least.

My mistake, I brain-farted and responded to a comment without the context of the thread. Now thinking clearly, I can't remember too many good home/home series (taking out the conference match-up games) for many years. LSU should have been a better series than it was. I think this is just a fact of life now. No BCS or good Mid-Major has anything to gain by coming to Koch Arena on their own accord. It's a guaranteed loss for 97% of D1 schools and the better teams don't need the check that bad. Hopefully IBA will help more in the future, but again, it's not Koch Arena.

It's tough to brag about what a hell-hole this is for visiting teams to play in, and then complain that nobody wants to play here.

Here we are 8-0 and have not had every seat filled even once this year. When full and rockin Koch is the best. It hasn't come close to that even once this year!
Perhaps not 100% full, but it sure beats the "Ocatagon of Doom."

I have both Jayhawks & Wildcats in my office (why the hell I hired them all is a different story) and it is gospel that the "Octagon of Doom" is "Allen West". Furthermore, said Octagon is the second worse PR debacle following EcoCat.

            KSU/KU office keeps it entertaining...

Koch Arena made the top 10 in his list.
The amazing thing about WSU being in this list is that nearly all of the other schools have large, loud student sections. It would be interesting to see a list of best arenas without much of a student section. WSU would probably be #1.
