  • ESPN's Kings Court Top Home Courts

Koch Arena made the top 10 in his list.
Shocker fan since December 28th, 2005!

Two thoughts...Koch should be higher, and in the grades above, they mention Tim Miles at Nebraska...Creighton better be prepared or that could be a loss for them tomorrow in Lincoln.

Being in the top 10 home court advantages is a pretty big freaking deal.

Especially when you are 21-3 on the road, too.

        Or is it now 22-3?

All 3 venues in Kansas received votes. Not too shabby.

I'm more than happy with #10 in the nation...don't let our VCU friends see this poll.

This is pretty darned cool. 1. It speaks to the quality of basketball team that WSU is putting on the home court, and 2. In part this is recognition of us, the crazed black and gold fans that do our thing at Koch.

If they gave points for places the big boys won't go to, we would be number 1 on that list...

I think this just underscores something I've grown to realize since moving to Texas. Most Shocker fans have NO IDEA what we have at WSU, and that's partially a problem with perspective. In Kansas, you can't go to a D1 college basketball game and not see a great crowd. In Texas, I can pick out individual voices on the radio for more than one school. There's no perspective in Kansas, not until you leave.

Y'know, maybe we should point people back to this article when we get our annual "OMG our fans suck" thread. Apparently our crowd does something right...
Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

With regards to not seeing terrible crowds at a D1 game in Kansas. You are certainly 2/3 correct on that.

Also, if KSU fans ever try to point to there attendance numbers as meaning anything, note this:

The box score for the game this photo is from claims that the attendance was 12,006
"Cotton scared me - I left him alone." - B4MSU (Bear Nation poster) in reference to heckling players
