Was able to watch the Chiefs and then fast forward through a lot of the Shocks game…got to the end at nearly the exact time as the broadcast. ROUGH loss and a TOUGH way to lose the game. I’ll take CJ Walker on my team anytime. So many boneheaded mistakes…some good things as well. But another loss at home…this one hurts (but not as bad as it could hurt since we’re getting too used to this…and the Chiefs won).

Never could figure out why we let them inbound the ball and no pressure on the ball till half court. Four seconds is an eternity…

Mills in the postgame interview with Kennedy blamed the loss on 50% FT shooting. While that is bad, he seems to miss the fact that letting a team shooting 26% from 3 on the season go off for 47.8% might be a little more significant than possibly scoring 2 or 3 more points from the FT line.

If we play D against the 3 as well as the rest of the teams have played against ECU, we win by double digits. But if we had just hit 2 more FT's we would have only lost by 1.

Mills needs to own it that whatever he's trying on defense is giving up a lot of 3's that other teams don't normally get - and it's consistent from game to game.
