I'm wondering with the CBS integration, if that will have anything to do with other areas of promotion and presentation. The all-access streaming that's common across the board, i.e. the Illinois State broadcast I'm current watching. That would be an awesome upgrade to Shockervision. Also, the CBS Gametracker, which is much better at providing visual stat information that the current "live stats" that we use now. The branding would definitely be better if this all comes to fruition.

Correct All media rights will be part of package being outsourced including tv, promotional sponsorships, TV and radio. Also Shockervision. WSU entertained this idea under Previous admin however did not make sense at the time as they were exceeding revenue goals. Now our recent admin and marketing department has failed to meet goals and fan expectations so they have agreed to contract with CBS. CBS is a relatively new player in the game and Not as valuable as a learfield or IMG. Don't get confused that CBS and CBS Network are the same. Not at all and will have zero influence on TV games. Typically these guys go after radio sponsorships and venue advertising hard. Could see more national companies involved with the department. However could lead to higher prices and driving the local companies out. Will take up lots of corporate seats and same percentage of postseason tickets as they receive regular season.
Reason for my post is although product hasn't been the best we owe a big thank you to Gary and Bill for taking the risk and stepping up through some very lean years.
