East Carolina (1-3) hosts North Texas and will probably emerge with an impressive 1-4 record and can claim sole possession of Not Quite the Worst, pushing both WSU and UTSA 1/2 game out of that spot in the standings.

Tulsa, Rice and Florida Atlantic are 2-2 and need to find a way to string some losses together to enter the battle for the coveted Bottom Four.

Sounds to me like a bunch of book smart students with no game sense.

I'm not sure that's the primary reason. They DO seem to fly around at time, but they seem to fly to the wrong spots. Or multiple people fly to the same spot leaving someone else open. I just think they haven't been taught how to handle these situations.

To be clear ... its definitely effort at times ... but that seems to be AFTER they have already given up a big run. The run itself is normally just poor fundamentals or not going to the right man.

Sounds like another variation of saying the team practices hard but that isn’t translating on game day.
