Kansas State (6-4) at Wichita State (8-3) Game Discussion: Dec 21 (Sat)

I understand there are a lot criticisms to be made about this team, staff. But, KSU waited until this program was at rock-bottom to schedule a series with us. They spent millions on their team this year. They came into Koch Arena and got smoked, with a kid from Wichita leading the way. Feels good to be a Shocker today.

The millions school spend with no results are what everybody should be rooting for.

How much did K-State pay for Hawkins? Nothing against this kid, but I personally love seeing NIL trophies bust and hope that it keeps happening.

2 million was what was floating around I think.

The end was great. There were two back to back to back to back possessions where Hawkins and Beverly both shot 4 FT each in clutch time

The player that chased 2 million in NIL went 1-4

The player that gave up his scholarship for a teammate went 4-4

Couldn't go to the game (even though I am currently in Wichita) or watch, as we celebrated the holidays with my wife's family at the same exact time. I did follow the score though. Excited to watch this one back.

Great game to be at. It was loud and fun in the 2nd half, like the Marshall years. The purple people didn't seem to enjoy it.
