I dunno why but I'm a little nervous about this one. I watched a bit of the AF-Colorado game and AF can definitely shoot the rock. CU's defense is pretty solid too. We're definitely gonna have to defend the perimeter.

I think the guys will answer the challenge. I hope EO can get back in the lineup. I definitely think this one could be one of our rare single-digit victories, hopefully nothing worse.

Air Force may be the second best team we have faced this year. All of their starters are seniors and they have a nice little pipeline going from their Prep Academy.

Not very many teams, even the SDSUs and UNLVs and New Mexicos of the world, go into C Springs and blow them completely out of the gym. I expect a close hard fought game where our depth will eventually wear them down. I also expect them to punch us in the mouth early while we are trying to catch our breath.

On a side note, the MWC looks to be a b^&tch again this year.

From what I gather this Air Force team can shoot. I believe 3G mentioned that AF is the best shooting team we've faced this year! With that said, MTXE will trump all!

I am with you. It seems that every time I watched a team run the Princeton offense, they pull off an upset.

Crank the clock, run the set over and over, until a good shot opportunity, make the shot. Low scoring. Low turnovers. Low fouls. Back cuts galore. Usually a bunch of white guys, who are running around in shorts and making shots.

I worry too. On the other hand, I always worry.

All those back cuts can be thwarted by the presence and ability of one Ehimen Orukpe and his buddy Carl Hall with a little assistance from a Cleanthony Early. One of the reasons we can be so aggressive on the perimeter is because we have those guys inside to take care of business.

I'm not too worried. We have the depth to wear them down even with the altitude advantage.

All I can go on is we will be favored to win. If we lose, it will be somewhat of an upset. I can see scenarios where they can take WSU down, but I would take the Shocks if I was picking.

I worry about every game because every game means a lot. However, we are the ones with more reasons to be confident so I'm feeling pretty good about it.

If there's any Colorado Shockers coming to the game who aren't a part of our facebook group yet, we're pre-gaming at the Rockyard in Castle Rock on our way down to the Springs. Join the facebook group ("Wichita State Shocker Fans in the Denver Metro ") and RSVP for lunch so we have an accurate headcount to reserve a table. See ya there and Go Shox!
