First 10 minutes kind of sucked, but, man!! Everything else wss pretty sharp.

Mr Vanvleet put on a little mini preview of his 4 years. Love it!

      Hall is a, well, beast.

      Early. Quietly gets double figures.

      Good win. Keep rollin.

Yeah, we had 7 guys play 20+ minutes and FVV had 17 w/ Lufile w/ 14. Our bench got a lot of quality minutes tonight!

By the way we had 23 assists to only 8 TOs.

Along with Freddy having a great game, I think Lufile had a pretty darn good game too. He had a lot of help from Fred with the assists of course, but that's what makes a team baby! Go Shockers!

Freddie "Five Finger Discount" VanVleet showed some excellent quickness, agility and dexterity tonight. I was really impressed with his play. Solid on offense and incredible on defense. He always knew where to put his hands to disrupt what the other ball handler was doing. I look forward to seeing him play more minutes as the season moves on. Between him and Armstead, opposing point guards are going to be miserable.

                Malcolm's sticky fingers are contagious.

That two handed dunk in traffic by Cotton was incredible. He had a good game as well.

Is this the first time this season where we shot over 50 percent from the field? Shot better than 36 percent from the three?

                    • Great to see FVV have a nice game. FVV is a special talent and will get better as the season goes on. We here in Rockford,IL are so proud of him..:)

                      • Slow start, Ron Baker looks like he is finding his shot, Wessel needs to catch and shoot not catch and head fake a shot so the defender can close on him, Cleanthony needs to be a little more judicious in his shot selection, FVV is more settled. I like this team alot.

He's playing behind Wessell and Cotton. Coach said on his show that his defense and rebounding are holding him back. Wessell and Cotton are playing pretty awesome too. Consistency, great effort on defense, great effort rebounding, good assist lines, etc. They do it all although their slashing, driving abilities may be a little behind Wiggins.

                              • Fred has been showing a little more each game. Tonight he really looked comfortable out there just playing basketball. He also did a fine job on the radio. Clear and concise. I love it.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.
