You may be right. Interestingly, the women's box scores almost always include those statistics.

For example, the Grambling State game included the following stats:

Points in the paint-GRAMW 16,WSU 28. Points off turnovers-GRAMW 13,WSU 22.
2nd chance points-GRAMW 8,WSU 12. Fast break points-GRAMW 2,WSU 2.
Bench points-GRAMW 14,WSU 31. Score tied-5 times. Lead changed-5 times.

Perhaps one area (game stats) where the women out-shine the men??????????

I doubt there are "points in the paint" stats kept that are readily available, but this team seems to be off the charts in points in the paint margin. When it comes to preventing easy buckets, this is one of tjhe best Shocker teams ever.

This will be an interesting matchup Sunday...in six games AF only has 18 blocks but has 55 steals (to include 7 vs #19 Colorado) and 74 three's made. An interesting matchup indeed....hope to see some of you in Colorado Springs at Clune Arena on Sunday! Go Falcons

161 stl and 93 blk...Still averaging 8 and 5 according to Espn stats.

Last year finished at 209 and 130.

With 11 to 14 (probably 14) games left through arch madness, we could be on course for a solid 250ish and 150ish before any post season games. And we are good for about 6 more games after that right? :)

No real point to this. Just having fun looking at it a month or so later.
