If I were a shocker and wanted to get a shot off, I would ask the coach to put me in when Bell isn't. And if I were the opponent and Bell had the ball, I would put 5 players in the paint. You don't need to guard anyone else because you know he isn't going to pass the ball.

So is anyone other than me a little concerned with what we’re getting from McGinnis? I think in 3 games including the exhibition he has one basket. 20 minutes tonight and no points. I’m not sure what position he plays but I’m guessing Bijan’s backup at the 2? We need more out of that position. I’m ready to see Joy get some of those minutes.

Concerned yes but it's only 3 games in so far. Offense doesn't need to run through him. He will settle in

I thought McGinnis and MB were both struggling. MB was having a tough time guarding number 2, but Q was able to shut him down.

The pass by Pipkin to an open Thengvall with about a minute to go was phenomenal. I'd like to see both Joy and Pipkin getting a few more minutes here and there.

Not all that worried yet. It took Colby a couple games before he got going. Granted Colby wasn't o'fer, but still. He wasn't lighting it up right out of the gate either. I think he will be ok.

Ballard is an asset that I hope we utilize much more.

Ballard is completely underutilized. We should be passing to him and looking for him every time down the floor. But our guards don’t even look to pass. I’d be frustrated if I was him that the only chance I had getting the ball was off of clanged bricks.

12 assists on 32 baskets is underwhelming. Beverly with 4 turnovers.

This team plays in a whole other level when Ballard is in the game. He shuts down the paint on D and forces the other team to collapse. His ability to stay on the floor will be the single most important factor in non-con wins.
