So is anyone other than me a little concerned with what we’re getting from McGinnis? I think in 3 games including the exhibition he has one basket. 20 minutes tonight and no points. I’m not sure what position he plays but I’m guessing Bijan’s backup at the 2? We need more out of that position. I’m ready to see Joy get some of those minutes.

Doc and I estimated 4-5k. There are lots of seats in those top 10 rows, and if those aren’t filled, it reduces capacity more than you think.

Maybe I'm taking your post all wrong, but are you comparing WSU's level of play most of the game against Louisville in a F4 with WSU playing most of a game against Montana St at home?

I was very pleased with the defense. They played very aggressive. Im not so pleased with Bell playing selfishly- he's a good player, he just needs to get his shot within the offense instead of playing hero ball.

Justin Hill is a great stabilizer for this team. His presence takes pressure off guys like Cortes, Bell, and Beverly who were primary ball handlers last season.

Washington and Bosnjak still look a little out of sorts, but I think they will come along as the season progresses. Nice to see the young guys get a few minutes at the end.

Montana State looks like a team that will get hot from deep and scare the bejesus out of a 3 seed.

20 point win and it looks like game was walk in the park.
It was anything but. The Bobcats are a good teaming this was a good test for WSU.
Montana State is well coached and passes the ball extremely well, They have smart players who know their role on the team.

Different night and they hit a better percentage on their 3 point shooting and things could have gotten iffy.
Agreed, they will scare the crap out of a 3-4 seed come March.

This win will look better and better as the season moves on.

No not at all. I’m just saying I think cherry picking runs to make either side look good or bad it’s kind of futile. WSU was 20 points better than Montana over 40 minutes, to me that’s all that really says anything.

Team is fun to watch. Tickets are not that outrageous. Fans need to step up. Period.

What surprised Montana State basketball coach about Wichita State in Shockers’ win

It’s not often Montana State men’s basketball coach Matt Logie is surprised by his initial impression on the court after scouting an opponent on tape.

“You’ve got to give credit to Wichita State,” Logie said. “The speed in person vs. the speed on tape is just very, very different. They punched us right in the mouth in the first four minutes, and that was really the difference in the game.”

The only thing disappointing is the crowd. The Shocks have a good team this season; very competitive and entertaining.
The amount of fans showing up and supporting the team is not impressive...at all.

If we want to relive and bring back old times, we need to get our game on.
Do we want more legit players here in the future?
Yea, the players now days get paid NIL, but a loud and proud atmosphere can go a long way.

It's almost like the crowd is afraid to show up and show out. Get up and be loud; this can be a very good season,
and if we want it to continue, we need to do our part.

We need to get back to 10,000+ days.
