This team can definately play some defense. Need to learn to adjust to the officials some. They were calling some ticky tack, but gotta adjust. Luckily we have a deep bench. I'm not going to say that we played bad. Sometimes these ugly defensive games can make it look alot worse than what it is. DePaul got after it on defense pretty decent early and were pretty physical. We sliced them up in the 2nd half. I'm happy.

Well, good game. I am fine with every stat on the book except the free throw percentage.
Positives
No one missed more than 2 3's, (we had 8 different shooters on 16 attempts).
Our FG percentage was alright.
Rebounding difference looks great.
Turnover difference looks great.
10 different players had an assist, we passed the ball.
We had a lot of fouls but good coaching and good player control kept this game in check.
3 of our seniors carried. Armstead, Hall, and Williams, combined for 43 Points, 8 Steals, 11 Rebounds, 10/14 on FT shooting, and only 4 turnovers. They carried, it was nice, they did well.
Great coaching though to keep us from fouling players out left and right, I liked the substitution.
this team is just a few layup makes from being a scare good team.
That and freethrows tonight and it's a 25pt blowout.

Our D was stingy tonight---the foul-fest kept DePaul in the game. Coach mentioned we missed at leat 8-10 lay-ups in the 1st half but likes the way we handle the press and complimented on guards on that note.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
