Meeks will be "start of the season" raw at the start of conference play - or maybe even later.

He'll be able to eat some minutes, but expecting any significant production seems foolish. With a one-year guy, injuries are a big factor.
Feel like this may be underestimating him - he was a top 3 contributor for a tourney team 2 years ago
Brummett throws, STRUCK HIM OUT! THE SHOCKERS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! AN UNBELIEVABLE STORY!

If Meeks is slow to heal, can he redshirt ?

Hard to see him playing before mid January, for me at least. Got to get healthy, THEN has to get in shape, THEN has to get up to speed. A lot to ask.
        Uuugh.

Won’t he be a 7 year Senior and 25 or 26 years old, next year?

That was my main concern was the amount of years he has been in college. Well, we can utilize him this Season in Conference play.

He might not want to redshirt due to his age but it would be nice really nice to have an upperclassman sticking around for next year after we have a whole platoon of seniors graduating. Either way, it'll be fund to see what he can add to the team when his time comes.

The jury is out on how much help Zane Meeks will provide. I think that could go either way. Furthermore, the one thing that Zane has established in his career is that he doesn't appear to be very durable and is injury prone. So even, when he gets healthy can he stay healthy very long? Would love to see him come back from this latest injury and close out his college career with a flourish. Only time will tell but far form a sure thing.
