This one will linger for a long time. its close to the Alcorn State loss in terms of stinckyness. Yuck.

Not going to matter when it comes to Selection Sunday. Those metrics are long gone.

Time to start really focusing energy on the baseball team.

Same thing, but I think he skipped the FT and just made the layup, 3 and half court shot. Everyone going crazy but the entire Shocker section waving it off with equal ferocity. It was awesome.

Well, they did tell him he won. If they are now saying he didn't, then they should have told him he was over the line.

Well, if they did indeed say that, they "shouldn't" have. It wasn't their place to speak for the Insurance company.

I suppose if the U wants to pay it out of their own pockets, that's their prerogative.


But this is stupid anyway. Some guy on the PA saying "congrats" isn't binding. It may be embarrassing but just saying something reacting in the moment shouldn't be the big deal that it often is.


They do this at golf tournaments all the time and you know what? You better have things set up the way it's contracted or 10 holes in one are going to be nothing but a good story. And close doesn't count. If the contract says 175 or longer, you better not have the forward tees at 173 because that ain't gonna count.
