FAU is electric on offense but cannot stop anything on defense. I watched the game last night and they definitely have the pieces if they can tighten up defensively. Charleston looks like a tournament team.

Caught most of the Temple game and they are mediocre outside of Mashburn Jr. Lynn Greer III will be available after the first nine games so that might help give them a boost (though it doesn't help the conference to have them suck in non-con and start winning in conference play).

UAB under Andy Kennedy lays an egg every year in non-conference play, only to become a contender in conference play. They don't even have that much roster turnover, so it's hard not to look at the coach.

Tulane played a team with a pulse and lost. They'll probably hover around 150 in Kenpom this year. South Florida is fine but not as good as last season. They'll probably hover around 100-125 in Kenpom.

To be fair for USF, they have some extenuating circumstances to this season. I will have zero criticism for them. Just showing up to play games is a win for them in my book.

Tulsa was down double digits with under 2 minutes to play. They scored 6 points in 10 seconds to tie the game at 75 with 44 seconds left. Missouri State's center lost the ball and Tulsa got it with about 15 seconds left. Travel by Tulsa with 3 seconds left and it's on to OT.

Update: Tulsa hit a shot from 3' inside the half court line to tie the game at 87 and its on to 2 OT. Tulsa isn't very good.

Sheesh. But couldn’t that work in our favor with the NET if we stomp them by like 20 pts or whatever? Swear I remember seeing people with garbage resumes being at large locks. Can’t remember exactly how it worked.
