AAC results from today. Memphis with a solid win @UNLV. I don't think Rice, Charlotte, or ECU are very good this year (not just basing that statement on tonight's results. Tulsa might be okay.

Kind of mixed bag, but probably more positive then negative. Western Kentucky blew the Win at Grand Canyon. They were up by 7 with less then 2 minutes to play.

A 4 point win against Omaha is about as close to a loss as a win can feel, to be fair

I am currently learning that, being old, is one of the most acceptable excuses used by old people. You are forgiven.

              Forget something? I'm old
              ***** at kids? I'm old
***** about everything and anything? I'm old
              Poop your pants? I'm old.

              See how well it works.

Boy, WKU really let a good one get away on the road.

GCU is the unanimous pick to three peat in the WAC and they are no joke. Damned good team. WKU led by 6 before GCU tied it with about 5 minutes left, got back up by 7 before GCU came back again, then led by 6 under 2. GCU went 3, then got a turnover, then an and 1 to tie, McHenry turned it over around 25 seconds and GCU hit the winner with about 5 seconds left. Tough loss for the Hilltoppers in what should have been a probable Q2 win.

Quality loss. Does not affect at large opportunities.

They will get another boost in their resume when they lose to us.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Not college game, but in okc right now watching Draymond Green warm up before the Warriors / Thunder game. The difference between an NBA player and collegiate is staggering. And these seats kick ass. Baseline row 5. When a friend asks you and the wife to go to an NBA game to watch OKC and Curry, well, you don't refuse. You buy him dinner. Still not sure who to root for, but hoping it's a good show.

Update on the okc/ warriors game. Warriors had huge lead going into 4th. I estimated they needed 13 points to win the game. 8.34 left in the 4th and they've yet to score. Now warrior starters are coming back in.

Starters did not look happy they had to come back in. And OKC is crushing it. It's like being at a Shocker game during the good old days.

Update. The Warriors have scored a whopping 7 points in 7 minutes of play in the 4th. And okc is hitting everything to close what was an almost 30 point lead at the end of the third period. The fans here are are raucous.

update. If you get a chance to see Curry play in an NBA game, pray he has the kind of game he had tonight. He looked broken as did most of the starters when they had to come back in as the reserves were not, um, reserving, you know, the game. I guess going almost 0 for everything in the 4th doesn't get the job done by a reserve player. Curry was f.ing fire in the late stages of the game, playoff mode Curry. Officiating was beyond horrible on both ends. But it was a blast, probably the best game I'll see live all year.
