The Saint Louis University Billikens Men’s Basketball Team defeated the Maryville Saints 106-65 in the team’s final exhibition game before the official start of the 2024-2025 season. SLU star and Indiana State transfer Robbie Avila played 17 minutes in his first action since sustaining an ankle injury during preseason. In his limited playing time, Avila shined, finishing with 12 points, 7 rebounds on 6 of 10 shooting. Kellen Thames led the Billikens in scoring with 17 points. Kobe Johnsons scored 16 points in the win.

10/25/24 – Spring Hill College (Ala.) at Tulane
Tulane men's basketball rode a team-high 20 points from junior Gregg Glenn III to roll past Spring Hill College 86-66 in its lone exhibition game on Friday night in Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. The Green Wave defeated the Badgers by shooting 43 percent from the field and dominating around the rim with 44 points in the paint. Glenn III got his scoring going early tallying 13 of his 20 points in the first half. The Pompano Beach, Florida, product connected on 8-of-15 shots from the field including a pair of three-pointers to go along with a team-high eight rebounds.
