The old adage goes as follows. "It is difficult to beat a good team thrice in a row." George Mason could not do it. VCU could not do it HOW SUWEET IT IS!!!! Next, you can make yourn own breaks. VCU does that with a solid D. However, the lucky breaks sometimes even out in the long run. Mr. Smart, your luck just run out. They better learn to make their throws because they had more than enough to win tonight. Sleep well tonight Shocker Fans. We just defeated a top 25 team at their yad. CAN U DIG THAT? Well slap my ass and call me Sally! Color me surprised and I'm proud of the younglings. This is the type of game where practically everyone (but the team for obvious reasons) chalked this up as a loss. I really, really hope this validates what they already knew and they continue to build on this win.

Nice win. Didn't see that one coming at all. The guys never stopped fighting. And this is a SMART bunch of guys. Calm, cool and collected. Still a long ways to go, but I like where this team is at this early in the season. Keep getting better and learning every day!!

Well I hope this an indication of what kind of a road team we will be. I think it was @SubGod22: who asked what if we play poorly and won. Well I guess that question deserves an answer.

I guess it proves we have some toughness on this team that you just have to have.

I think Cleanthony may have grown a lot tonight. Just the experience of this game has to be worth a ton to him.

Now we need to develope a little more depth. Thank goodness Western Carolina and Howard should give us an opportunity to do just that.
