I think we have the same concern.

Carl Hall missed more bunnies than he did all last year. I am sure it was freakish event.

Mal is 0-8 from 3 on the season.

Ron was 3-8 tonight and 2-7 from 3. One 3 ball went down and came back out.

Evan was 1-3.

Even though EO's line is not anything to write home about, he was an intimidating, effective defensive force.

I am worried about shot making from perimeter players. Tonight we were 10/32..

I think both teams were just going 150% on the defensive side. I feel like Armstead will gain confidence from this game and get better. Early will make more shots once he calms down. Orukpe did surprisingly well in this game, hopefully rips our next two opponents apart.

We'll see though. We may have more ugly games like this one until some of our players gain more offense. I think we have one clear perimeter playmaker, and one cool headed leader, but we need our perimeter players to score. Wiggins may see more court time just for his offense if we continue like this.

Defensive games like this always look ugly for offenses. A Stat on TV showed VCU 56-9 when holding teams to less than 65 pts. Both teams were both held to under 55 pts. I would not judge our offense from this game.

I hope that's the last time I have to see Carl play 36 minutes. This was an early, very big road game and HCGM wanted it in the W column. Now he can get back to building that depth.

I was looking at the replay and it may or may not have been goaltending. Hard to tell for sure. But I know for damn sure it wasn't going in.. at all.

Was a pleasant surprise to beat VCU the year that I would least expect it. Early in the season and a team less familiar with each other. This team seems to have tremendous athletes on it. Should be an interesting year.

Believe it or not, Buffalo Wild Wings had the Shocker game audio and on the bigger TV's than the KU game. After KU lost, all of us Shocker fans scared them with our screaming with that Malcolm dagger. They weren't paying attention... ;)
