WKU 58 - SIU 57. Wyoming transfer Desmar Jackson lead SIU with 22 points. He had a wide open 17 footer with about 8 seconds left in the game that would have given SIU the lead and he had a guard 3 pointer at the buzzer that bounced off. WKU had left the door open by missing the front end of a 1+1 and both ends of a two shot foul on their last two possessions.

Another close but no cigar effort by the Valley.

Fixed it for you. Philander Smith and Malone are both NAIA I believe.

edit: Malone plays in a D2 conference but doesn't become a full member of D2 until Fall 2013.
