This league had a few chances at home to make statements. You don't get that too often. And of course the league is blowing it.

I think CU made a statement today. Wasn't St. Joes picked to win the A-10? Too bad they lost to Boise earlier this week. Cu is actually a very good team this year when they decide to play some defense.

Illinois St and Indy St blew two great opportunities to help themselves and the Valley. Maybe Bradley can surprise everyone and pull out the home upset over Michigan (I am not holding my breath). They are only down by 4 at the half.

they played great, not good, but great, defense against wsu in koch last year- so they are capable of it, now and again.

(of course, after much study, gregg marshall ramped up the offense in the rematch in return- 'don't sit there and hold the ball! move it! two passes! shoot it!')

Seems like most of the MVC are capable of playing tough the first half, but fade badly in the second half.

So why do I fear this will not happen against us?

They won a conference title that earned em a spot in the NIT, which they flailed out in 1 game. Outside of that "accomplishment", nothing.

I would LOVE for Barry to come into Springpatch and bury those fools. You can't capture moments like that too often.

51-19 ORU. This is beyond comical. Again, just to reiterate, the game is in Springpatch.

That "accomplishment" was enough to get their coach promoted to Tennessee. We will see how that worked out for everyone.

That and hope the league separates itself unlike the clusterf*ck for 3rd place last year. WSU, sCUm, Illinois State, need to really pull away from the rest of the pack. UNI or Drake could be substituted for Illinois State as well.
