There is one guy on that roster that looks like a handful and that is Echenique. They have a lot of shooters and all but GE looks tough. Luckily our bigs are going to be faster and will still get it done against him.

            Edit: Headed to OT

Toledo (0-3) was 10-14 from the line. UNI was 32-39. Probably no home cooking there.

                  Key stat - Free Throws:
                  Toledo - 10/14
                  UNI - 32/39

                  Key stat - Fouls
                  Toledo - 27. 2 fouled out. 2 with 4 fouls
                  UNI - 12. 1 with 4 fouls.

The game was in Baja Canada (aka Frostbite Falls) - I can never remember the name of the town UNI is in.

Toledo was 17-17 last year with an RPI of 241. Toledo outscored UNI from the field by 19 points. UNI is picked either second or third in the Valley. Is there something wrong with this picture?

Edit: Sorry, Doc, I was typing my post when you made yours.

UNI's bench was 2/8 and scored a total of 7 points

Toledo is not very good. The fact that it took 39 free throws and Mitchell to go off with 27 for them to get a win at home in OT may be a sign of things to come. They might get their asses handed to them at Atlantis.
                    Deuces Valley.
                    ... No really, deuces.

Little Dougie had a great stat line_________Min_____FG______3 FG_____FT________OR_TR____A__Stl____Blk___TO__PF__ TP
                        Doug McDermott, F 23 2-6 0-2 1-2 2 7 1 0 0 1 3 5

The guy he was guarding got 12 against him. Dougies +/- for position? -7.

Now, before DJA starts thinking I'm obsessed with Dougie's stats, I'm only following them because I think there's a possibility he has already peaked as a player and may not be the PoY in the league this year.

0 blocks. I haven't checked the really early games, but I suspect this either starts or continues a string of 0 block games.

Grant Gibbs is Jake Odum. Just saying. Run straight into the teeth of a defense and kick it back out to a three ball. Half the time they could probably have tossed in a floater or a layup. I always get a chuckle out of that stuff

Great shooting line (5/8). 6 assists is a great performance. 3 TO's gives him an A/TO ratio of 2 for the game.

Most teams that aren't top 10 would benefit from a Grant Gibbs type player. He makes others better.
