The only thing I'm worried about Tennessee is that they will manage to slip out of their slump and come out hot as hell against us. That's what usually happens anyway.... Teams come out of there slump just in time for us.

The game with Tennessee has all the potential to be the most boring game of the year.

The good news about the Tennessee game is we play great D. Maybe they do as well based on the scores of their games, but our offense is MUCH better than theirs and we haven't even been firing on all cylinders. If we play our game, we should walk out with a nice win. If we don't, hell, we should still walk out with a win.

Maybe I'm a little overconfident because of the past few results for them, but I think we could walk in there and beat their ass and walk out. Double digit victory

This can certainly happen. But no longer does this game with them frighten me. Evidently, Tennessee is missing Jaronne Maymon who is a senior and their leading rebounder and second leading scorer for them last year (12 ppg) due to a knee injury. It sounds like he will be out for a while and will not be playing against us. They have an incoming freshman who is highly touted, Derek Reese, who also has not played this year due to injury. He's practicing in light drills, but it does not appear he will play against us either.

Tennessee is trying to win on defense. Both of our progams emphasize the D. The O/U for this game will probably be set at 85 by the looks of it. Evidently, they also have real, real problems with the zone. I'm sure GM and staff will be watching game film on these guys and draw up a scheme using the zone against them. They do have two guys currently averaging 11 ppg, so they'll be the ones to watch. At the beginning of the season, this game was trouble, but they have real problems over there and we'll have a great chance to get a W.
