    IN St 101 - SMU 92

Also, Bradley beat Loyola Chicago 74-62.

The few times I watched Bradley this year they didn't appear to be a 'bad' team.

Indy State was sure entertaining. I think Indiana State would probably beat Virginia by a score of about 80-50.

I'm guessing since they were a first 4 game, Virginia was basically there to collect their check. I feel bad for the fans who may have traveled.

USF will host VCU Sunday night in the second round of the NIT. Cool to see USF hosting postseason basketball. Could this be a future AAC conference game as well..?

Indiana State closes out the 2nd half, with very good team ball the last 10 minutes of the game and win 100 to 90.

If that Sycamore team can stay together and keep their coach, they should run away with the Valley and be a tournament team next year. If their coach leaves, I would gladly take a transfer or two from them.

Fran Francella discussed during the game many times, "The Selection Committee for the NCAA Tournament sure missed on Indiana State."

                      Early in the 2nd half:

Seton Hall taking Georgia to the proverbial "Doghouse", as they are up 20+.

FINAL: Seton Hall routed fourth-seeded Georgia 84-67

Ind St. had a higher net rating rating than several at-large teams, for those who are swayed by metrics. Even Ronnie Milsap could see they pass the eye test, if that measure was used.

"LOS ANGELES -- Fox Sports and AEG will launch a new postseason college basketball tournament next year. The College Basketball Crown will be a 16-team tournament taking place March 31 through April 6, 2025, in Las Vegas. The games will be played at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena. Both venues have hosted college basketball games in the past, including the Pac-12 tournaments. Teams that do not qualify for the NCAA tournament will be eligible. Another money grab for the 6 majors, 3 of them getting 2 auto entries. Probably kill the NIT.

More likely that this is above to give Fox a leg up in the TV contract game.
