Rest of the league is garbage

The valley could be a 3 bid league this year

Speaking of France, Did you guys hear that General Marshall asked the folks in Omaha if they would plant more trees around the CenturyLink Center? He wanted to have shade for his tanks when ever he come back to town.

Omaha? Isn't tht a beach? Or is it a bi-atch?
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

          WSU
          UNI
          DU
          EU

          INSU
          MSU
          SIU

sCUm is the clear favorite. Even if you hate em, like we all do, it's pretty stupid to pick against them at this point. The next 3 can all be interchangeable IMO. ILSU had the best potential coming out of last year to make a surge. But then they lost a key FOY and head coach. UNI was not that impressive last year. They backed their way into the magical tie for 3rd. They lost their only decent 3 point shooter in Moran. Jacobsen is a good coach. That's the only thing they have going for em. We'll know a lot about the Panthers after they play their toughy tough non-con schedule. DU lost Rice. They bring in some talent but Phelps is horrible. EU will be typical. Just mediocre enough to upset a few giants and then play mostly typical garbage ball. Ryan will get some points if the refs continue to let the moving screens roll on. The bottom 4 I'm pretty confident in. Barry's new team and old team will keep company together in the cellar.
          Deuces Valley.
          ... No really, deuces.

I don't think much of the Sycamores talent this year.

Kung WU, I know we are talking BB. but I can't let your "tied" WWII ranking of the UK and Italy stand without coming to the defense of our most staunchest ally.

Yes there was a gap between the top 3 and GB, overall, but to even insinuate that Italy, in WWII, was even close to GB in military strength is an unjustice.

Perhaps you are too young to fully appreciate what took place during the Battle of Britain when the Royal Air Force (RAF) single handily defeated what was then recognized as the most powerful AF in the world in the late 1930's, certainly larger and stronger than ours at the time.

Italy's military strength on the other hand was just like its puffed up ruler, Mussolini, a hellava lot of hot air, but no substance. GB's AF and Navy would have completely overwhelmed them.

                      Without a doubt.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Outset = beginning. You can't use the results of a battle that hadn't happened yet as an example of what will happen -- that's cheating!

My reasoning for the tie had little to do with military strength and everything to do with alliances. I had UK over Italy initially but Germany over the USA -- that didn't make any sense. So the best I could do is predict a tie because I definitely couldn't position Italy over the UK. LOL

WSU wins and it isn't even close.

I'm counting on the lil' Wookie being a flash in the pan. I didn't see anything in the two games he played us that impressed me. With lil' wookie fading, where's the rest of their hope? Cyclops? C'mon... WSU is so loaded with firepower it isn't even going to be funny. We will play for a while like a jet engine misfiring. There will be retarded mistakes and turnovers galore, but there will also be moments of blinding offense which will occur in ever increasing durations as the season progresses. I predict some squeakers early on, but our last six Valley games will be won by an average of 20pts or more.

We are also winning two in the Lou and two in the Dance.

I wish I had Cold's confidence ... but I do like our chances. The depth of this team is impressive, HCGM is gonna have a lot of options come game night. I think it comes down to the final game in Omaha and we serve another beatdown.

I also feel like McD is slightly over rated. He is good and all, but when I think of Anthony Davis or Thomas Robinson and then think of McD in that perspective, I just don't see it. To me, he is just an example of what happens when an entire offense is centered around one man on purpose by his dad. Lots of nice touch scoring, mediocre defense and mediocre athleticism. He doesn't assert himself like a monster, he just scores a lot
