Acting like that and trying to incite something isn't going to help anything.

_kai_ why not start a news article sticky. That way any article pertaining to the shocks can be dumped there. I come across a lot of stuff I put on for information sake only. Not overly concerned if it always gets a response. But if it concerns Shocker basketball it has a place here. If something gets posted wrong move it. The snippy comments and cheap shots are just as irritating in my opinion. I have to wade through that crap to get to something worthwhile.

Quite frankly presenting someone's work as your own (Haertl/Kennedy and their respective production teams) and then posting multiple threads about it is lame. I'm going to snipe about it. @WuShock Reaper: puts it in the public square.

You must be referring to another post as everything on here is tied back to ESPN and yes if he does this it is wrong. But thanks for being the snipe hunter, never knew what one looked like.

And thanks for proving my point.

I dunno why you're being such an ass about it. All you had to was admit that you made a mistake, combine all of this jargon into one space (like the admin explained), and move on. The real issue is this wasn't your first, second, or even third time doing this, which leads many to believe you simply have no regard for the rules and are an attention whore.

              ... No really, deuces.

                  "ESPN Nonconference schedule analysis: MVC"

This week, ESPN.com is breaking down the nonconference schedules of each and every team in a dozen of the nation's top leagues. On Monday, we began in the South with the ACC, SEC and C-USA.

This a lot better non-conference schedule for the MVC then I think we have seen in a while.

Here are the average Nonconference "toughness" rankings by the ESPN Analysts'. As you can see, the MVC has rated out great again this year as-a-whole. The MVC will have over 35+ opportunties to get some great wins. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

                    2. Missouri Valley - 7.10
                    3. A10 - 6.50
                    4. ACC - 6.17
                    5. Big 10 - 6.17
                    6. SEC - 5.93

What is ESPN calling "tough"? Is it considered tough to play more top rated teams; or tough to play better RPI teams as an average; or is it "tough" to play teams that will be difficult for you to beat, whether or not they are ranked in the top 10 or the 100-150 range? Is their any objective statistical basis for the "toughness" score, or is it subjective. Does playing a team at home or or the road impact the "toughness" rating?

I'm not trying to say I disagree, just wondering how it's done.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

There is not an analytical scoring system, it appears to be very subjective. However, since a lot of discussion on at-large selection criteria is non-conference schedules I will take this as a a good sign. Also as comparsion they gave the shockers a score of six (6) as compared to seven (7) this year. Also here is the average toughness rankings for the top 12 conferences from last year:

                        1. Atlantic 10 - 6.64
                        2. SEC - 6.58
                        3. Colonial Athletic - 6.33
                        4. ACC - 6.17
                        5. Missouri Valley - 6.00
                        6. Big Ten - 5.83
                        7. Big XII - 5.50
                        8. West Coast - 5.33
                        9. Mountain West - 5.25
                        10. Conference USA - 5.17
                        11. Big East - 4.50
                        12. Pac 12 - 4.25

How did the Pac 12 do last year? (Did they lose all of their OOC games? :devilish: )
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.
