I absolutely agree with Fever. For those familiar with the history between Fever and me, you may now retrieve your lower jaw from your keyboard.

I don't have to worry about baby food, but I did just pay my property taxes. I believe that left a semi-permanent pucker on my anal orifice. We all have to prioritize our needs and our wants. Watching a bunch of one-and-done players moved WSU basketball tickets fairly far down on my wants list. Cheap seats for Thunder games go for $8.

While I wanted to support Mills because there is no option for a few years, the man bores me to tears. Coach, DO SOMETHING! I have yet to see him come to the defense of a player on a questionable call. Show some emotion whether it's positive or negative. Make it look like you care, because it doesn't look lie you do.

We had an emotional coach that valued winning more than breathing. Even his wife and children knew to clear the way after a loss. Eventually he offended 3 people and got cancelled. Now we have the opposite.

I am starting to look around at ticket prices at other schools, just to compare.

At VCU, it depends on the opponent. For Fordham, some tickets start at $10. For UMass, $35+. George Mason, $53+.

At Dayton, the upper sections (they seat over 13000), you can get tickets as low as the $10-13 range. In the main bowl, they are asking $75+.

Those are KenPom top 40 teams. I'm still looking for a better comparison to WSU.

Maybe K-State is a good comparison. For most games, you can buy single-game tickets for $21+. Premium games (KU, Arizona) are well over $100.

Who buys season tickets?
Someone who never goes to a game or someone who goes to a few and has a blast. Try to fill the arena every night as these are your future season ticket holders. It's not rocket science.
Not to mention getting kids in the arena greatly increases the chances they attend the university later on.
