The NCAA is clearly at the mercy of the P4 and as of now, will side with them on anything and everything. Let the P4 and BE split off and become pro leagues.
Then form a new association and go back to the student athlete model. That would make two organizations, so anti-trust laws would no longer be applicable.
Ideally, if a school wanted to move from amateur to pro status, the NCAA would be forced to let them in and assign them to a conference. Pro schools would have to compensate amateur schools for poaching players or coaches.
