I couldn’t motivate to watch the second half because the ineptitude was so comprehensive. I don’t think it really matters if we lost all of our players. We would have just as good a chance next year by recruiting an entirely new team.

So as some wanted previously because this is a lost season we now might get to see what they can do.

Toughness scale:
Top ten things the coaching staff and players do prior to a game:
1. Pet puppies
2. Pet kitties
3. Help the elderly across the street
4. Get a pedicure
5. Try out new pillows at Diilards
6. Watch episodes of The Golden Girls
7. Think about the colors of the ozone
8. Enjoy a hot tea with lemon
9. Paint a Happy Tree with Bob Ross
10. Listen to Ocean Waves on the Sleep App

So I take it things did not go too well tonight. Baseball season starts tomorrow. I sure hope Coach Green gets his Shocker tenure off to a better start than Mills and Nooner have.
Nooner doesn't matter much although it would be nice if WBB could raise a few bucks every year to throw into the kitty. But the prognosis for the athletic department as a whole is not good if we don't get men's basketball at least relatively competitive and playing the kind of basketball that fans can get behind. What we are seeing this year ain't it.
I realize we may not have the most talented roster but I simply don't accept that these guys coudln't be coached up to be better than they are with a system designed to work with what talents they do have. Whatever Mills has them trying to execute ain't it . Raising the concern that Mills coaching skills may be lacking.

I generally try not to be a pile on type of person, but...."We'll feel this one".....????????????????????????
How have you not felt EVERY one???? To me the microcosm of the season is the first 20 seconds of the FAU overtime...outhustled for a layup, then the LAZIEST pass ever....down 4 in 20 seconds...
This team has to grind 1000% of the time....and the coaches have to grind 1000% of the time.....and they don't ...
You'll hate this...the Shockers were better with IB.......
