If the guy lives up to anywhere near the hype he has recieved on the message board than its a really good possibility. I remember asking one well respected SN'er what he thougth about all the talk of Baker being the next big thing, and he told me "Oh, Baker is the next big thing" If Van Vleet, Baker and Cotton all play to potential our backcourt is gonna be scary for quite a while.

If Cotton and/or Baker end up in the starting lineup ... then it means they truly earned that honor, which is a good thing for this team. Same can be said for FVV. Bench of DWill, Early and Wiggins is the start of helluva strong bench!

Cotton won me over last year, he has star potential but with a team-oriented game.

Teams like Evansville and Creighton won't zone, they'll just sag the M/M, take away the drive, and try to hold us to one shot.

Cotton is a lot like Toure. He doesn't standout at any single stat, but he might be the most well rounded player on the roster. He can shoot, rebound, plays great on ball defense and he just makes everyone around him better. I agree with Doc that it will be hard to keep him off the floor.

And Cotton is built like a power-I fullback!

If Cotton doesn't start at the beginning of the season, he will by the end.
