With Memphis, the American is behind those conferences in basketball. Lmao, Mills is so beyond disconnected to the fan base. His narrative isn’t going to fly here, because we’re not as quite as gullible as ORU people. We’ve actually seen good basketball here, enough to know that what’s on the court is as **** as the coach that’s leading it.

so many issues I can spot. He thinks the talent in this league is really good (it’s generally not), thinks that this rebuild is going to take longer than he thought (says the guy who thought that all of last years players would be the perfect core), and I can go on and on.

Not defending Mills, but ORU has an interesting Head Coach history. The 5 previous coaches before PM were:
1985-1987- Ted Owens
1987-1993- Ken Trickery
1993-1997-Bill Self
1997-1999- Barry Hinson
1999-2017- Scott Sutton

I remember when we we on Shockernet thought we were getting ready to hire Scott Sutton. He may have even taken a trip to Wichita? But we hired Marshall instead. Sutton wound up not having too great a remainder of his career at ORU.

I'm hoping NIL results vary from season to season for the AAC, because the league was actually half decent last season.

Last year the AAC had five teams finish in the top 100, with seven in the top 110. This year they have two teams in the top 100 and only four in the top 125.
