Just for the record, and in case anyone thinks I am "dissing" or don't respect DWill's game, he's going to graduate next spring as THE winningest player all time at Wichita State.

That alone not only speaks volumes but commands my total respect.

      WTF is Ethan Wragge?

Wragge is the stand still 3 pointer shooter (and a damned good one btw) for Creighton that cannot guard my grandmother.

That's why I'd have Green in the "most inexperienced" lineup instead of Wessel.

I cannot see any starting lineup that doesn't include Cotton.

            Armstead
            Cotton
            Wiggins
            White
            Hall

I do not anticipate this lineup later in the year. Minutes are available for anyone that decides to be a stud, and there are plenty of possibilities.
Glad to see someone besides me expects really big things from Cotton this year. I haven't had much opportunity to see him, but I do love his game. Also, I had a really hard time not starting DWill at the SG.

Green the only one that's gonna redshirt, Doc?

Assuming DWill recovers in time to start the season, yes.

Ill go out on the limb...

                  VanVleet
                  Armstead
                  Cotton
                  White
                  Hall

I know that leaves a hole at PG, but it is just matter of rotation after the start. I know many, including me, have lota of praise for JM, but I wonder if he is ready.

OTOH, FVV played against every top PG in the nation in AAU between his Jr and Sr years, and by most accounts he beat all of them. There is some speculation that FVV played for the wrong HS and the wrong AAU team or he would have been a high 4 star for sure and possibly a 5 star. Some recruiting sources have reported FVV as one of the most underrated players in his class because he was only top-100.

I'm on Cotton's bandwagon, but I don't think he's going to take any minutes away from FVV this year or any other year they're both here.

I could only read so much of that. Some other LEMMING there questioned his quickness, yet again. LOL That's all the BS I needed to see. LOL FVV is cat quick. Period. We've seen the videos- he blows by everybody with that first step.. or full court. What a f*$k*#* joke that people question his speed.

Give him some time- like even Isiah Thomas needed at IU- say 8/10/12 games- and he will come around. No doubt.

There is only one player I fell confident in saying will definitely be in the starting line-up when November rolls around and that is Carl "The Beast" Hall and he could be at the four or the five. There are a lot of very talented players that will be pushing each other for starts and PT. For now I'll go with

                        PG Armstead
                        SG Williams
                        SF Early
                        PF Hall
                        C Lufile

                          SF Wiggins
                          PF White
                          C Hall

DW might not start game one because of the ankle, but my guess is he'll be the regular non-con starter.
As others have said, I think the question which will impact the roster the most is whether EO can start and play 20-25 or is more like a 10-12guy--its effect will ripple across playing time and roles at all position from 2-5 but especially the two forward positions.

DW said at the ice cream social that his injury was coming along very well, on schedule. He was very upbeat about it.

Green had drawn an incredible number of "charging calls," which had given me hope that he knew how to get defensive position and used his feet and not his hands. Guess not, huh?

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:

It's as much as a strength issue as anything, im4wsu. Evan is simply an exceptional, strong, aggressive D1 athlete. DG isn't, yet. I have no doubt he will be, it's just going to take some time. You MUST be capable of pushing people around at this level.
