And there are a heck of a lot more possibilities than we've seen listed here.

    How about our Youth Lineup?
FVV/Baker/Cotton/White/Anybody else? That could be the starting lineup in couple of years when they're all JRs/SRs.

      PG - Armstead
      SG - DWill
      SF - Cotton
      PF - Hall
      C - Ehimen

I love our depth at just about every position and look forward to Shocker Madness to see some of what the new guys bring to the team.

      PG - Armstead/DWill/FVV/Cotton/Mitchell
      SG - DWill/Wiggins/Cotton/Baker/Green
      SF - Early/Wiggins/Cotton/Baker/Wessel/Green
      PF - Hall/White/Lufile/Early
      C - Ehimen/Hall/Lufile

I expect Green to RS. We know Bush and the ULL guy will. That still leaves 12 scholarship players looking for time. It will be interesting to see how the minutes get spread around.
Since people are coming up with different types of lineups, how about a "most inexperienced" lineup?

I'd even go with Green in place of Wessel if we all didn't think Green was redshirting.

I almost threw him in there, but decided he won't be available.

                Green is going to redshirt.

I cannot see any starting lineup that doesn't include Cotton.

                Armstead
                Cotton
                Wiggins
                White
                Hall

I do not anticipate this lineup later in the year. Minutes are available for anyone that decides to be a stud, and there are plenty of possibilities.

Is this based on DWill's injury, or are you seeing that much improvement by Cotton that DWill's starting position is in jeopardy regardless of health status?

I hope we see this lineup with three minutes to go almost every game.

                    Joe Mitchell
                    Evan Wessell
                    Derail Green
                    Chadrack Lufile
                    Fred Van Vleet

Question for @WuDrWu: and @SubGod22:. Doc, you have Wiggins (and not Early) in your starting line-up and Sub has Early (and not Wiggins) in his "inexperienced" line-up. Do you both feel Wiggins is ahead of Early? From what I remember reading and hearing from others last spring, Early had a more complete game than Wiggins, with some concerns about Wiggins' defensive prowess. Because of that, I would have had Wiggins and Early reversed in both of those line-ups.

I normally don't like the idea of trading out 5 players for another 5. Nevertheless, this isn't bad.

                          5 - Hall
                          4 - White
                          3 - Wiggins
                          2 - Cotton
                          1 - Armstead

                          5 - EO/Lufile
                          4 - Early
                          3 - Baker/Wessel
                          2 - DWill
                          1 - FVV/Mitchell

                          or

                          5 - Lufile
                          4 - Hall
                          3 - Wiggins/Wessel
                          2 - Cotton/Baker
                          1 - Armstead

                          5 - EO
                          4 - White
                          3 - Early
                          2 - DWill
                          1 - FVV/Mitchell

Nice to have all these options, but I'd still prefer having a steady stream of 1 or 2 sets of fresh legs coming in regularly.

                              Only my opinion here...nothing more.

I haven't had as many opportunities afforded me in previous years to see the kids during the summer, but what little I did, and from a variety of reports, it's my opinion that Early is coming along a little slower than first anticipated and that Wiggins is in a little better shape. Look, I fully anticipate Early being a total stud by the end of the year, and our expectations may have been a little out there (imagine that for WSU fans, me included) but I think it's a little much to expect him to be All Conference on November 15. Plus I am really impressed with Wiggins.

Evan Wessel is at least a 5 times better defender today than Green. It's not a knock against Green, but he's just not ready defensively. Think of a weak Ethan Wragge.
