Colby took over down the stretch. That was impressive!

Especially with the amount of attention he was receiving from SIU. This was a very physical game and probably both teams could have been in the bonus with double minutes left in the game. I thought the officiating was equal both ways and this is from a guy that believes that it is a God given/Shocker right to disagree vehemently with officials.

Agree on the officiating… thought it was good…I don’t ever think the fouls should be equal, just equitably called

Johnson had five turnovers and the Shocks had 6.

Johnson handled the ball 90% of the time and never came out, AND does not have as good of teammates… I’d take those turnovers balanced against the assists

We haven't seen anyone better than Johnson.

DeGray certainly was a nice surprise. But he sure ate into Ridgnal's minutes.

Crowd was very good compared to the last 3+ seasons, no doubt.

After it was 19-4, one could argue the Dawgs very much controlled the game.

You and I barely move that 80s needle.

SIU was certainly helped by the addition of Jerrett Hensley who, like DeGray, was playing in his 1st game for SIU. He didn't play much for Cincinnati but his size and strength and 8 points in 18 minutes certainly helped SIU against our bigs. It's hard to imagine they can't finish 1-2 in the Valley with that team.

But Indiana State beat them by 30. THIRTY.

I will make it me absolute goal next time to come see you… and, yes the old people dig included me!

I still like this team. Every team has flaws but you can tell that they really want to win. Our guards were very good especially in the second half. Photo definitely had another off offensive night but he did have 12 rebounds. Crowd got into it and helped the team get the shot clock violation which was pivotal. It would make for a great year end if we can win a game in KC. My son’s family came to the game with us. They have two boys ages 8 and 5. They both had a great time.

Somebody needs to roll Pohto up to a Chicago street-ball game and let some thugs hack the Euro softness out of him. He's got the skill and athleticism, but he's got no banger in him. We need him to get mean. Maybe he needs a "talkin' to" by X? Maybe someone should make him eat a hotdog with ketchup on it?!

True, just giving context to the 9 assists compared to the Shockers 10 assists. I wonder how many assists he would have if he had been passing the ball to Pohto inside?

The 8 year old said it was the best game he ever saw. He has been to several games over the last couple of years. I’m going to make a concerted effort to take them and my daughter and her two boys to the rest of the weekend games. This may be my last year with season tickets so I need to make some more Shocker lifetime fans.

I encourage everyone with the means to take some younger people to the games this year. We need to help regenerate Shocker Nation.
