  • Oath to Coach Marshall

    Coach Marshall Sir,

I solemnly swear that if you bring Andrew Wiggins to this program, I will personally gather up all the Shockernet regulars and drive them to your home to sing the Wichita State Alma Mater all decked out in Shocker GOLD on your front lawn. Don't take this offer lightly sir, we have some very cranky and coldblooded members on this forum. Organizing a feat like this will come at a high price. One thing is for sure, we all bleed black and gold profusely and would be honored to sing you a song for your efforts.

Thanks for all the hard work and may you some day be crowned NCAA Coach of the Year (while at Wichita State)!

Technically it was General Steele quoting Marshal Foch.

A fundamental Dale Carnegie Success Principle states that if you’re wrong, admit it quickly, and never tell another person he or she is wrong without first admitting that you, too, could be mistaken.
