The NBA draft is tonight. The telecast begins at 6:00 P.M. local time.

I imagine the players will not play tonight. I think they will want to watch the predraft conversation on ESPN and then the following telecast.

By the way, the pickup games have been starting around 5:00 P.M. give or take.
