Hey you never know. It sounds like melo and stutz are exact opposites.

The thing about the Celtics is that they do have one of the better management systems in the NBA. They understand value. If they think that GS adds value to the team, even long term, I could see them adding him to their D-League team.

Spurs are also on that level as well. I'd love to see any of our guys make it on a team, or even D-League team. It helps with recruiting.

Did anyone see where Calipari said that his goal is to have 10% of all NBA players be from Kentucky in 3 years?

It was pleasing to see Tyshawn Taylor slide to round 2.

What I think he really meant to say is that his goal is to have 10% of all NBA players having passed through Kentucky for a cup of coffee on their way to the NBA.

Possible, but a stretch. It looks like they had 17 in the league last year, plus the 6 from last night. With 360 roster spots league-wide, getting to 36 over the next 3 years means adding 13. If you assume that 3 of those 17 roll off, they need to add 16 over 3 years.

In other words, he's saying his goal is to have his starting 5 turn over every year. God bless him and his greasy handprint on college basketball.

Now where's John Chaney when you need him?

Yeah, you can hardly call his players 'from Kentucky.' Maybe now and then they are a product of coaching, but it seems like most of them are guys that are destined for the NBA before they choose what college they go to. The fact that he somehow gets that many of them...to the extreme that his entire starting 5 AND a reserve all get drafted makes it seem incredibly odd. I wonder how he does it.

So, if this is true, and we've already heard where he and Toure are playing at this short of notice, could that possibly mean that we haven't heard where Stutz will go yet because he has several offers to consider?
