Watching the PAC-12 title game and the news that we fired IB showed up on the bottom line.

We have actually come a decent ways when our firing of a coach makes it to ESPN. Not exactly huge news to them, but Randy Smithson’s firing in 2000 sure as hell wouldn’t have made ESPN.

He will be fine after the shock of getting fired wears off. He walks away with plenty of cash and lots of experience on how to run a program.
Will not be surprised to see him end up down south somewhere. A Southland conference or SunBelt league type of program.
Good guy, but wrong one for this program and a place that expects to be dancing each and every year.
