LOL the six or so players that are productive should play more and the rest, less. You think that's not reasonable?
Even back in the 80"s with far less TV breaks Carr averaged over 35, Sherrod averaged 33, 35.4 and 37 in 3 seasons, McDaniel 33, 37.7, and 37 in 3 season.
Our best players playing more is reasonable. But that wasn’t what you said. You said, “there’s no reason a player can’t play the entire game.”
However, the players you mentioned were either future long-time NBA players, McDonald’s All-Americans, or both. So the drop off between them and the bench players is much larger than our current starters and backups.
