Call me crazy…but I think we win this one by double-digits. Combination of UCF not playing well and WSU showing something. Still think we need a HC change but will enjoy the Ws.

I believe the same can be said about our KP if out or even with a nagging injury. He brings so much more than just scoring and rebounding. He sees the court so well, passes well and just seems to me to be the smartest player we have.

I'll admit to often being a KP "hater", but with all his shortcomings, the one thing he does really well is make good decisions with the basketball. We should continue to get the ball to him at the high post

keep in mind he's only a sophomore. Put him against other sophomore post players we've had in the past.

Reasons for optimism - this team’s highs (performance on defense/offense) are borderline elite… and the comically terrible lows - which still happen every game - are shrinking in duration.

Exactly - KP’s trajectory is really exciting to think about. He is going be an all conference center somewhere- especially if he ever gets his mojo back from distance.

RH: "Playing Together Makes Basketball A Lot Easier"

"We've been getting in transition a lot more," Porter said. "Once we see somebody get a rebound, just go. We've been getting 10 to 20 points just off transition alone."

Jaykwon Walton dunks after cutting to lose a defender and taking a perfectly timed pass. Kenny Pohto lobs to Isaac Abidde, all alone at the rim, for a dunk. Pohto screens for Craig Porter Jr., then bounces a pass to Walton for a dunk.

Those are plays that require timing, movement, cutting and practice. Wichita State, after months struggling to score, is in a groove where execution and comfort with the offense is on the rise.

First game this season I’m sticking my neck out for the Shocks. I have them -4 tonight. Hope the Houston team shows up tonight.

Come on. Even the largest of koolaid drinkers wouldn’t say there’s anything elite about this team.

What a sloppy ass first four minutes for both teams.
