I'm not sure what he's currently doing, but Jeffrey Parson isn't bashful about expressing his opinion... and I don't recall him being a big fan of the IB hire. We need "The Bruce" back in Doo-Dah.

I don't think I've encountered more than maybe 100 words outf of bothLutzes. Pretty much none from Jeff and I don't recall anything from Lutz since he left The eagle. I think I ran into him on the radio in my car briefly a time or two.

Eldridge doesn't go hard on anyone, He just presents facts with proof behind them with some outstanding analysis and film study. Then he lets readers form their own opinions. I believe that's what "journalism" is supposed to be about.

Trying to compare IB's start with MT's and GM's.

That was always a desperate attempt to make a case. Both MT and GM walked into situations where there was very little on the roster to work with. So of course it took them a couple of years to move the program forward. We saw improvements and fight and could get behind that.

IB was handed a pretty damn good roster that was trained and coached up by 3G until just before the season. They were already prepared by the master, though towards the end of the season that seemed to wear off and we started seeing more of what we've seen over the last two years.

So those three are not the same. Only one of them walked into a full roster to work with and build around.

Turgeon had Terrell Benton, O.J Robinson and Troy Mack. That was pretty much it, and that's not great. I also believe they were all seniors.

Marshall had Cooz, Braeuer, Mekel, Thomasson and that was pretty much it. And they were all seniors outside of Mekel, who left to play pro ball in Israel before his time was up.

Brown had Etienne, Gilbert, Udeze, Dennis, Council, Wade, Porter. Gilbert and Wade were seniors, but replacements were already on the roster.

No, RC4 didn't play the exact same position as Joe P, but since Dex played the 3 when Joe was in, and moved to the 4 when Rickey came in, their minutes matched up almost exactly, and MK oughta know that.
