1. Our starting guards 0-11 from deep and only 3-20 overall
2. Really liked the team effort they just wore us down in the end
3. KP with 12 boards and has really been trending up recently along with JW and Rojas
4. Once again our ball movement and rebounding was good
5. Focus now is doing whatever it takes to keep KP and JW
6. Have to admit IB has the team playing better but I think IB's future rests on attendance

WSU has improved. Was just thinking, though…it would have been valuable, early in the season, to take on tougher and better quality opponents. (I know scheduling isn’t easy). And, even with a pretty weak pre-conference schedule, WSU lost to some teams they should have beat. But, the Shockers play up to the competition which would have helped them tonight. They just don’t know how to win against good teams…and that has been a problem for awhile.

Good effort tonight, Walton was a stud. Photo is playing better, still needs to get stronger. Our bench was exposed tonight. Houston over the last 5-6 minutes hit the offensive boards and got lots of second chances and cashed in. We need a true point guard and some help for Photo next year. I was waiting for the Houston run, good game and effort though

I finished up my other commitment in time to watch the last 8 or so minutes of the game. It looked ;like a rerun. I've seen that before. Over and over.

Also noticed a lot of the missed FT's were short. I suspect our opponents are in better game conditioning than the Shox.

At least this loss won't hurt our at large chances.

That was a really fun game to be at. Normally I'd be upset with the loss but its what's best for the program.
